Testimonials:
"Dear Lynne ,
WOWEE, when "Birthday Boy Dougie" walked into our living room around 5:30 this evening (his choice to open his "gift" right before going out to dinner), he was once again like a little kid at Christmas!! I haven't seen that face for a long time… and that was BEFORE he opened the beautifully wrapped package with huge blue bow! This face was just the initial surprise of the SIZE of it, I think.
He said later that he "had no idea" what it could be, possibly some poster of Henrik Lundquist (his NY Rangers hockey goalie idol) -- but he just had NO IDEA... he started to be gentle opening it, trying not to rip the wrapping paper, and we encouraged him to just "go to town, ripping & tearing and having fun!"
He first saw it through the bubble paper. Oh my god, I cannot even BEGIN to describe the expression on his face when he BEGAN TO REALIZE what he was beginning to see (I should say, what he was hoping it was seeing), he continued unwrapping and exclaimed with delight and intense interest in getting a good look at it.
You have pleased him, and us, more than you could possibly understand -- he treasures it and says he always will. At the time of your art show, the fall of 2012, he had taken a pic of it because he loved it so much, and wanted to be able to see it whenever he wanted to on his cell phone. So he's been "enjoying" it that way ever since with neither of us knowing this.
We will all give a lot of thought as to where to best 'let it live & thrive!” I think it will end up in our family room where we spend 99% of our time. We have a print above our TV that could use a retirement period. THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH. There are no words, really, for how we all feel.
Fondly, Sherry & Gang"
